The Mercedes-Benz CLS350 CDI immediately established itself as a new style icon. The proportions have stayed the same - and yet everything is different: the second generation of this design trendsetter has adopted a completely new look and elegant concept. A long bonnet, narrow-look windows with frameless side windows, dynamic roof sweeping back at an angle towards the rear. The large, elongated dark air inlets with black grilles also add to the vehicle's athletic appearance.

The Mercedes-Benz CLS350 CDI combines straightforward elegance with innovative details and handcrafted perfection. An eye-catching feature is the wrap-around cockpit: a high line sweeps from the driver's door over the instrument panel and across to the front passenger door. The central display has also been integrated seamlessly into the upper part of the instrument panel. At the same time, the downward sweeping side line on the doors continues the dynamic dropping line of the exterior.

The hallmark of the Mercedes-Benz CLS350 CDI engines which are used in the new CLS is The ultimate in efficiency. Both the output and torque of all units have been increased compared with the previous models, and at the same time consumption has been significantly reduced by up to 25 percent.
The CLS350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY producing 265 hp and the CLS350 BlueEFFICIENCY producing 306 hp and fitted with the ECO start/stop function as standard. The key data of the CLS 350 BlueEFFICIENCY include: 225 kW/306 hp (plus 10 kW), 370 Nm (plus 5 Nm), fuel consumption of 6.8 litres per 100 km (minus 2.3 litres). The CLS 350 BlueEFFICIENCY accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds, and achieves a top speed of 250 km/h.
