At Nissan, the word “NISMO” means “add performance,” and the 2017 Nissan Sentra NISMO follows that recipe—just barely. Its engine makes the same 188 hp as the SR Turbo; as with the Turbo, a six-speed manual is standard and a CVT is optional. Exterior changes include lower-body bits, a rear spoiler, and redesigned rear bumper. The NISMO rides lower and rolls on 18-inch wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Inside is a microsuede-and-leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather shift knob, and push-button start.
