For city driving, the 2017 Volkswagen Up is an excellent option that provides a surprisingly roomy interior given its size. It boasts three different 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engines, including a 59hp version, a 75hp version, and a turbocharged 90hp model. We suggest going for the more powerful engine as it delivers much better acceleration from low revs, making the Up more fun to drive and better suited for long-distance journeys on the motorway.

The lower-powered engines are available in regular or Bluemotion Technology forms, the latter of which uses stop-start technology to improve fuel efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions. The turbocharged 89bhp engine comes with this feature as standard.

If you're looking for an all-electric option, the e-Up is the way to go. It's even faster than all but the most powerful of the petrol models, and is great for zipping around town.

The Volkswagen up! is about to take a giant leap forward with its second series set to launch in late summer 2016. It will come with a range of exterior updates, including newly designed body panels, a selection of vibrant colors, and new wheels. It will also offer a variety of personalization options. Inside, the interior has been completely redesigned and it will feature a new infotainment system. Plus, the engine has been upgraded to provide more power and torque.

The new version of the up! will be unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. It has been a top seller in Europe for the past five years, especially in Germany and the Netherlands, and it has also been a hit in other markets such as Brazil, Japan, and South Africa. This new version is sure to be a hit with customers everywhere.

The Volkswagen up! has seen its share of success and it looks like it's here to stay. Volkswagen unveiled the latest version of the up! at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show and it comes with some exciting new features. All versions of the up! now come with LED daytime running lights, new bumpers, a prominent rear diffuser, newly designed tail lights, new exterior mirror housings with integrated indicator lights, new colours and décors for the dashpad, and new seat designs.

In addition, the up! is now also available with the "Light and Sight" package, which includes "Coming home" and "Leaving home" functions as well as rain sensors, just like the larger Volkswagens. With all these features, the VW up! is sure to keep its streak of success going. The Volkswagen up! now comes with fog lamps and cornering lights, as well as a multi-function steering wheel and Pure Air Climatronic (automatic air conditioning). This is the first time that Pure Air is being offered with the up!. The air quality sensor in the Pure Air system has an active biogenic filter that keeps the cabin air clean and prevents pollutants, fungal spores and allergens from entering. This ensures that the air quality in the cabin remains consistently high.

The Volkswagen up! has an impressive new 1.0 TSI engine, offering an efficient and exciting driving experience. This turbocharged direct petrol injection (TSI) engine produces a powerful 66 kW/90 PS with a peak torque of 160 Nm available from 1,500 rpm. This three-cylinder engine is the first turbo for the up! and the most powerful motor available in the model to date. It provides a dynamic performance with a top speed of 185 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 10 seconds. The VW up! is a remarkable vehicle that strives to match the driving performance of the first Golf GTI. Its dynamism is complemented by its impressive fuel efficiency of 4.4 l/100 km, equating to 102 g/km CO2. This means that the up! 1.0 TSI can cover up to 800 km on a single tank of fuel. To further emphasize its sporting nature, the most powerful new up! is equipped with a visible exhaust pipe.

The new Volkswagen up! has been innovated with smartphone integration. Just connect the phone above the dashpad and it'll be turned into an infotainment system with navigation and on-board computer functions, all thanks to the Volkswagen app. To coincide with the launch of the new VW up!, Volkswagen is introducing a new version, the up! beats. This car has been designed with sound in mind, as it comes with a 300 W sound system from BeatsAudioâ„¢ as standard, and of course, smartphone integration is included.

The Volkswagen up! is a dynamic car that makes mobility enjoyable. Volkswagen has put the spotlight on the individuality of each up! with a range of options. The up! presented in Geneva has 13 body colours, 9 exterior decals, ten new dashpad designs, three roof colours, three design packs, two colour packs and two basic colours for the interior trim, coloured alloy wheels and individualised-colour ambient light for the top-of-the-range models.

Volkswagen up! buyers now have an even greater degree of customisation with the addition of 13 new colours and 10 new dashpad designs. The new colours include "Teal Blue", "Coral Red", "Costa Azul" (blue), "Honey Yellow", "Edelweiss" (white), "Blueberry" and "Savanna Gold".

The range of engines has been expanded to include a 1.0 litre petrol engine with multi-point injection (MPI) that delivers 44 kW/60 PS or 55 kW/75 PS, as well as a sporty new 1.0 TSI (66 kW/90 PS). An eco up! (50 kW/68 PS) is also available for those who prefer natural gas, and the zero-emission e-up! cruises through the city at 60 kW/82 PS.

Volkswagen has recently added several new roof packs to its range of offerings, designed to complement the car's paint job. These include roofs in contrasting black, white, or grey, as well as door mirror caps and tinted rear windows in a contrasting colour.

In addition, three design packs are available, featuring a dashpad, design decals for the exterior, and contrasting door mirror caps.

Finally, the colour packs for the VW up! give the car an extra eye-catching touch. These come with 16-inch alloy wheels, design decals for the body, and matching door mirror caps in "Hot Orange" or "Gold Beige".

Beats Electronics, an American audio specialist founded by rapper Dr. Dre in 2008, has made a huge impact on the music industry with its headphones. Now, the Californian company has expanded its range of technologies to include full in-car sound systems. At the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, Volkswagen revealed the BeatsAudio™ sound system for the first time in the Polo and the new up! model. This results in a new equipment version – the up! beats – specifically designed for the city specialist.

The sound system has a 300-watt and 8-channel amplifier with a digital signal processor (DSP) to ensure high-quality sound. Seven high-end loudspeakers are distributed around the interior, including two tweeters in the A-pillars, two woofers in the front doors, two broadband loudspeakers in the back, and a subwoofer in the spare wheel well to deliver powerful bass tones.

The Volkswagen up! beats is now equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels, giving it a customised look. The car also features special beats design decals and contrasting colour door mirror caps. Inside, a unique dashpad, a special door sill plate and coordinating seat belts make the car stand out even more. Smartphone integration and ambient lighting (white) come as standard features. All of these features come together to give the up! beats a very distinctive look.

Volkswagen has completely revolutionized smartphone integration. Introducing the new infotainment generation: the Composition system with a 3.1-inch monochrome display and the top-of-the-range Composition Phone system with a 5.0-inch colour display. Both systems offer a twin tuner, AUX IN connection, and SD card slot. The base system also has a CD player, while Composition Phone has a Bluetooth interface with hands-free function.

The Composition Phone system is also available with the new smartphone integration feature and the BeatsAudioâ„¢ sound system. As an additional option, both systems can be supplemented with a DAB+ (digital radio receiver), the Sound Plus package (with six loudspeakers) and a USB port (in the centre console). Plus, for the first time in the up!, the Composition Phone system also offers a rear view camera.

Volkswagen has truly raised the bar for smartphone integration.

The Volkswagen app "Maps + More dock" is a great way to integrate current smartphones, running either Apple or Android, into the Composition Phone's control system. All you need to do is connect the smartphone above the centre console and pair it with the radio system via Bluetooth.

The app offers a range of features, such as "Navigation" (offline navigation without roaming costs, 2D or 3D map mode), "MFA" (multi-function display with vehicle data), "Phone" (with hands-free kit), "Think Blue. Trainer." (energy-saving tips), "E-charging Manager" (in the e-up), "Car Function" (various vehicle functions), "Media Control" (access to music details, display title, artist and cover, search function with handwriting recognition) and "Radio Control" (selection of FM, AM or DAB+; display, search and save radio stations).

Additionally, the smartphone integration system also includes a USB port that can be used to transfer data or for charging. With this app, you can make your vehicle smarter and more efficient.
