Audi has released some information about the 2013 Audi R8 V10 Plus. This is the latest generation of Audi who will join the Audi R8. Characteristics that distinguish this car with another R8 is the use of carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP).
Thanks to the use of carbon fiber, the 2013 Audi R8 V10 Plus is so lightweight but strong. Audi uses adjustable bucket seats with glass fiber reinforced plastics (GFRP) chassis, and reducing the use of insulating materials, a special light alloy wheels, and chassis components, including standard ceramic brakes. Exterior has been tweaked to include louvers aesthetic matte black hole at the rear side windows and dual exhaust rounds gloss black.
Under the hood of the new 2013 Audi R8 V10 Plus is a 5.2 liter machine. This machines are also used by the standard of Audi R8 V10. This engine delivering 550 HP and torque output peak £ 398.28-ft at 6500 rpm. As with all models of the new R8, the new Plus version gets a new Tronic 7-speed S of the space gear tightly in sporty mode. with this transmission, the car sped from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds. while the average rate of fuel consumption is 18:23 U.S. mpg.
2013 Audi R8 V10 Plus will go on sale in late 2012 with prices starting from € 173,200, approximately $ 210,000
